The 12th Festival of Inclusive Culture (dhiafest) is gearing up to be an extraordinary event. This celebration not only highlights diverse cultures but also fosters inclusivity through exciting activities. However, the excitement faced an unexpected challenge when the treasure hunt was postponed in five out of twelve cities. Despite these setbacks, innovation is leading the way, with a reimagined experience now scheduled for December 18, 2024, using a phygital approach that merges the physical and digital worlds.


Participants hail from ten countries, including Greece, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Georgia, Ukraine, and Germany. This impressive international collaboration was expected to enrich the treasure hunt experience, blending various cultural perspectives and making the game engaging for both local and global participants.

The treasure hunt guided the participants through historical and cultural landmarks, especially in the vibrant city of Thessaloniki. Contestants tackled challenges based on intriguing questions related to Byzantine history, the city’s notable churches, and connections to significant locations like Preveza, Nafplion, Elefsina, Maronia, and Thasos.
